Sekei is a village 7km from Arusha surrounded by farms and small businesses. We head straight to a farm where our local humble host is a horticulturist, beer keeper, small-scale coffee cultivator, and processor. On his farm, we’ll enjoy an informative coffee tour & farm walk, where we’ll learn how he cultivates, roasts, and grinds coffee using locally sourced means.
A garden of lovely flowers facilitates his small-scale bee-keeping operation while nurturing the pollination of his banana and maize plants. Our generous host will let you take part in coffee processing and you’ll enjoy a nice cup of homemade coffee and have a taste of delicious honey from his bee hives.
