Arusha – Arusha National Park 
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 08:30am and drive on a tarmac road 38km to Arusha National Park (552 Km2) with packed lunch. Over 400 species recorded in such a small park is quite an impressive count. A combination of the forest reserve, the Momella Lakes and the Ngurdoto crater does the magic. Lake Momella is one of the best places in Tanzania to see waterbirds, flamingos, pelicans, little grebes, a variety of herons, ducks, and waders are common. Also Hart lab, turaco, eagles, Lesser & Greater Flamingos, p orchards, geese, hammer Kop, red shark, spur-winged goose, woodpecker, secretary bird, grey parrot. Other animals such as Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Waterbucks, Colobus monkeys, Vervet monkeys, Baboons, and many others reside here. Till later back to Arusha for Dinner and overnight.
